Abstract:
To make the area of the front small and to make it easy to replace an illumination device and its lamp.
The front internal peripheral edge part of a frame-shaped internal support 29 made of a resin material is arranged opposite the back peripheral edge part of an LCD panel 11, a tape upper packet (TCP) 25 winds around the internal support 29 from outside and has its front side connected to the LCD panel 11 and a driver chip 27 mounted on its front, and a circuit board 26 for driving is mounted on the rear side of the TCP 25 and arranged opposite the back of the support 29. The illumination device 12 is provided behind the support 29.
