Abstract:
PURPOSE: To inject a liquid crystal into a liquid crystal cell without contaminating the liquid crystal and without wasting the liquid crystal.
CONSTITUTION: A hollow member 5 made of an elastic material is joined to the circumferential part of a liquid crystal outflow port 16a of a liquid crystal injecting head 4 in such a manner as to prevent the leakage of the liquid crystal. The hollow member 5 expanded by the supply of high-pressure fluid is joined to the circumferential part of a liquid crystal inflow port 3 of the liquid crystal cell 3 inserted into the recessed part of this hollow member 5 in such a manner as to prevent the leakage of the liquid crystal, by which the liquid crystal outflow port 16a and the liquid crystal inflow port 3 are connected via the through-hole 8 of the hollow member 5.
