Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a liquid crystalline resin capable of being produced in a shorter time than a conventional liquid crystalline resin.SOLUTION: A method for producing a liquid crystalline resin includes solid-state polymerizing a raw material resin containing at least one selected from liquid crystalline polyester and liquid crystalline polyester amide in the presence of nanodiamond particles. The nanodiamond particles are preferably obtained by a detonation method. A median diameter of the nanodiamond particles is preferably 2 nm or more and 50 μm or less. A used amount of the nanodiamond particles is preferably 0.001-5 mass% in a reactant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
