Abstract:
To provide a liquid discharge device capable of suppressing discharge disorder caused by latch timing of a selection signal, and achieve high speed recording.SOLUTION: An ASIC of a printer comprises: an output circuit for outputting a waveform signal FIRE and a selection signal SIN; and a transfer circuit for transferring the waveform signal FIRE and the selection signal SIN to a driver IC. The driver IC has two D-flip flops, and for every discharge cycle, latches the selection signal SIN (first latch) by one D-flip flop, then, latches again, the selection signal SIN (second latch) by the other D-flip flop.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
