Abstract:
To provide a live bird transport cage capable of preventing increase in transport energy and breeding energy by flexibly accommodating to live the bird movement restriction during an avian influenza season.SOLUTION: A live bird transport cage 1 for transporting live birds from a poultry yard to a poultry processing plant, includes a body for storing living birds, and a swingable discharge door 5 forming a part of a body side wall, and is configured to incline the body to direct the discharge door diagonally downward, then swing the discharge door 5 outward to open it, and discharge the living birds from the body.
