PURPOSE: To prevent an artificial failure of work by reducing the load of work at the time of member transfer when an LM.JCL member is released from a copy source library to a copy destination library.

CONSTITUTION: A host computer 2 is provided with a release information storage part F1 in which release information inputted from plural terminals 1a, 1b... connected by online are stored, an extraction processing means AP1 which extracts only release information of transfer object members whose release dates coincide with the system date, an extracted data storage part F2 in which extracted release information is stored, a copy source library L1 where newly generated or updated LM.JCL members are stored, a transfer processing means AP2 which copies object members from the copy source library L1 to a copy destination library L2, and a printing-out device P2. The extraction processing means AP1 extracts only release information of the day from the release information storage part F1, and the transfer processing means AP2 confirms the version number and the update date to copy the pertinent members and outputs a list.
