PURPOSE: To provide a load distributing device for a multi-server device which can more efficiently ease tire concentration of load of server computers as compared with a conventional device.

CONSTITUTION: This load distributing device is provided with a file management table 108 for recording the reference frequency of respective files and the stored identifiers of server computers A, B as pairs, a file reference managing part 107 for updating the table 108 at the time of receiving a file reference request, a timer 110 for generating a signal in each determined time, and a file movement managing part 109 for processing the table 108 at the time of inputting a signal from the timer 110 and moving files between the computers A, B. When the reference frequency of the table 108 is processed and files are moved, the sum of the reference frequency in each server computer can be averaged and the loads of the server computers A, B can be distributed.
