Abstract:
PURPOSE:To lower the cutoff frequency of the piezoelectric Langevin type load sensor sufficiently by mounting plural couples of unit load sensors one over another and connecting them in parallel. CONSTITUTION:The three couples of unit load sensors consisting of piezoelectric ceramic plates 18 and 19, 20 and 21, and 22 and 23, and electrode plates 24 and 25, 26 and 27, and 28 and 29 which gather plural and minus charges are stacked on a load transmission shaft 8 one over another. The internal diameter sizes of the unit sensors and the fitting through hole of a chassis 6 are so machined as to match the external diameter of the mount shaft 8a and they are fitted onto the shaft 8a. Respective output terminals 24a, 26a, and 28a and output terminals 25a, 27a, and 29a are led out together respectively. Thus the terminals are connected in parallel to increase opposition area and electrostatic capacity can be increased even when the mount shaft becomes thick to decrease the cutoff frequency sufficiently.
