Title:
LOTTERY DECISION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3695487
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide the attachment positions of lottery elements on many targets, by means of a simple light emitting/transmitting system.
SOLUTION: This device decides an identification area where an arrow 31 is attached, among revolving targets 29a to 29c which include plural identification areas. Two light emitting elements 5a and 5b are placed at one of both sides of an array of those targets together with two light-receiving elements 6a and 6b placed at the other side respectively. Thus, two light beams A and B are generated and cross the front of the targets. Then one of right and left areas which are linearly symmetrical to each other centering on the revolving center O is specified as the timing of the beam A to read the arrow 31 based on a fact whether the arrow 31 crosses the beam A and then the beam B or vice versa. As a result, it is possible to decide the attachment position of the arrow 31 among many targets, just by emitting two common beams A and B across these targets.
