Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject stabilizer capable of improving the low- temperature stability of a heavy metal-fixation agent containing a functional group such as a thioamide group, by making the stabilizer include an oligomer containing a specific functional group, having a specified number-average molecular weight.
SOLUTION: This low-temperature storage stabilizer for a heavy metal- fixation agent comprises (A) an oligomer containing at least one functional group selected from carboxyl group, sulfonic group, hydroxyl group, phosphate group, phosphonic group and their alkali metal salts, having 1,000-30,000, preferably 2,000-20,000 number-average molecular weight (gel permeation chromatography) and is used for (B) a heavy metal-fixation agent containing at least one functional group selected from (di)thiocarbamate group, thioamide group, thioureido group, xanthogenate group, thiol group and their alkali metal, ammonium or amine salts. The amount of the stabilizer added is preferably 0.1-10 pts.wt., preferably 0.5-5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component B.
