Title:
LOW VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER LINEAR CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3535357
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable low-voltage operation and to provide satisfactory extensibility by turning (n) pieces of differential couples composed of bipolar transistors having specified polarities and the electrodes of respectively correspondent feedback transistors into specified connecting state.
SOLUTION: This circuit is composed of two kinds of blocks, i.e., common block from a 1st block to (n-1)th block and n-th final block. This common block can be arbitrarily extended. A transformer linear loop is composed of VBE of transistors Q1, Q2, Q3,..., Q2n consisting of 1st to n-th differential couples. Transistors QA1, QA2,..., QAn are current source transistors for supplying bias currents to the correspondent differential couples. Then, these transistors are connected to respective base electrodes so as to constitute a negative feedback from the collector electrodes of transistors consisting of differential couples. Thus, low-voltage operation at about 1 V is enabled and extension is easily enabled by the simple repetition of the same block.
