Abstract:
To provide the circuit capable of preventing a blackening and without impairing the maximum luminance.
The average voltage of video signal 1 is detected by an average voltage detection circuit 2, and this average voltage signal is added with a signal from a contrast control switch 5 and inputted to a contrast control circuit 6. The average voltage signal is passed through a polarity inverter circuit 3, added with a signal from a black level control switch 4 later and inputted to a black level control circuit 7. Desired video correction is performed to the video signal 1 through the contrast control circuit 6 and the black level control circuit 7.
