Title:
SOCKET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3055486
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small socket at a low cost whose size is not influenced by mechanical processing accuracy.
SOLUTION: A socket is composed of a board 5 on which a plurality of wiring patterns mutually insulated by insulating plates are formed, a cylindrical pin sockets 2A whose inner parts are conductive and fixingly connected to the wiring patterns being upright on to the substrate 5, a block 3A fixed to the substrate 5 to support the pin socket upright state, a conductive contact pin 1 inserted in the pin sockets 2A so that they can slide up and down. The pin sockets 2A are covered with insulation materials 4 except the connecting area with the wiring patterns of the board 5 and stuck close together by resin 9 to an outside wall of the block 3A. The pin sockets 2A can be arranged to be stuck together, a block part that is required at outside of a conventional pin sockets row is not necessary, therefore, a socket can be miniaturized.
