Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a magnetic bearing causing no performance deterioration in the special environment, e.g. at a high temperature or under radioactive rays.
CONSTITUTION: The inorganic material of a ceramic-coated electric wire is used for a coil material wound on a stator for holding the magnetism of the rotor 10 of a magnetic bearing, an alumina cloth 3 is wound on an electromagnet coil 2 made of this coil material, and an electromagnetic yoke 1 and the electromagnet coil 2 are insulated from each other. Since the inorganic material is used, the alteration or deterioration of the material in the special environment is suppressed, and the performance of the magnetic bearing can be guaranteed during usage.
