Title:
MAGNETIC DISPLACEMENT SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02173521
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the resolution as a sensor and to improve sensitivity by performing working so tat a tilt angle is made on the cross section of the tip of a metallic fiber. CONSTITUTION:The sensor is constituted of a magnetic fiber 3 and a winding 4 applied around the fiber 3. It fetches the change of external magnetic field as voltage from the winding 4 and measures and senses it. The tip part of the fiber 3 is worded to have the tilt angle theta which is >=15 deg. and <=80 deg.. It is good that the fiber 3 is a fiber-like magnetic substance exhibiting soft magnetism. It is desirable that the fiber 3 is a crystalline soft magnetic fiber, furthermore, the Fe-Si based and Si-Al based crystalline soft magnetic fiber is more desirable in the desirable crystalline soft magnetic fiber. Then, the fiber whose diameter is 5-500mum is desirable. The length of the fiber 3 is 5-200mm, desirably 10-100mm, which is not defined particularly. As to the shape of the cross section thereof, which is not defined particularly, a round shape or an oval shape is desirable.
