PURPOSE: To make the distribution of the magnetic flux on the pole face of an iron core uniform, to increase the bearing between a tool and the body to be worked, and to improve a polishing efficiency by using a laminated iron core in order to form a pole face in cooperation of plural magnetic plates each other.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic field generation means 16 generating the magnetic field which rotates the polishing tool arranged in the space regulated by the circular internal face of the body 38 to be worked around the axial line of the body 38 to be worked, in the state of its being brought into contact with the internal face, is included. This magnetic field generating means is equipped with plural electromagnets 20 wound with coils 28 on iron cores 24 and extending in the radiation direction at its iron core 24 and the pole face 36 of the iron core 24 becomes at the side of the axial line of the body 38 to be worked, and a york 18 connecting the iron core 24 of adjacent electromagnets 20 each other magnetically. This iron core 24 has plural laminated magnetic plates 32, which form the pole face 36 is cooperation each other.
