Abstract:
PURPOSE:To refer stored contents at the time of recording and to skip a track generating a dropout to record efficiently images or the like by storing and displaying data indicating the dropout generating status of the track. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 70 decides the existence of a dropout generated in a magnetic sheet 68 based on the detecting output of an envelope detecting circuit 86, stores the track No. of the track generating the dropout and the number of tracks on the sheet 68 or displays the stored contents in a display device 94. The track generating the dropout is skipped by referring the contents stored in the storage circuit of a circuit 70 at the time of recording, so that data such as image information to be recorded can be efficiently recorded in unrecorded tracks successively.
