To provide a main spindle device free to manufacture at low cost without strictly controlling and adjusting dimensional tolerance of each constitutional part of a main spindle and favorable in working precision, a machining center furnished with it and an assembling method of the main spindle device.
This main spindle device 20 is furnished with; a bracket 21 mounted on a supporting arm 9 free to revolve and having a cylinder part 22 nearly perpendicular to its revolving axis; a rotating part 31 on a head end of which a tool can be installed; a housing 32 mounted on the cylinder part 22 of the bracket 23 free to insert into and remove from it and; a main spindle 30 arranged between the rotating part 31 and the housing 32 and having bearings 50, 51 to support the rotating part 31 free to rotate against the housing 32, and it further has a spacer 71 free to absorb an error of a revolving radius of a tool W.
