To provide a make-up method capable of simply improving the state of the lip and improving the coatability of the lip stick and the durability of the lip stick by adhering a sheet-like pack material containing a polymeric viscous agent and a wetting agent to a lip and subsequently coating the lip with a lip stick.
This make-up method comprises laminating (A) a polymeric viscous agent (carrageena, gallant gum or the like) in an amount of 0.01-95 wt.%. preferably 0.01-20 wt.%, based on the total amount of the pack material and (B) a wetting agent (glycerol, diglycerol, polyglycerol or the like) preferably to a holder (natural fibers, synthetic fibers, a non-woven fabric, a synthetic resin film or the like), removing mold release paper 3 from the formed sheet-like pack material 2, tightly adhering the sheet-like pack material 2 to a lip, leaving the pack material for 1-30 min, preferably 5-10 min, and subsequently coating the lip with a lip stick or the like. Thereby, a real use touch is obtained, and the durability of the lip stick is improved.
