Abstract:

PURPOSE: To accurately execute hair style design technique selected in accordance with a modeling device by including a device for forming an artificial human head and a modeling device to be applied to hair in order to indicate at least one hair design technique to be executed on hair by a trainee in the cosmetology teaching manikin.

CONSTITUTION: Each manikin printing plural graphics on its hair is designed so as to complete many hair design technique and a teaching book and a teaching guide including schematic diagrams are annexed. The hair of a female model manikin has length almost up to the shoulder, and since the training of hair cutting is started from a long hair style, the length of the hair can be gradually shortened up to a very short style. Hair is sectioned along colored lines printed on the skin of the head and cut out along a selected style out of plural styles coded by plural colors. Each colored graphic has width allowed to be cut out twice or more based upon a specific style and student's experimental level is surely improved though it is controlled. Thus an improved manikin to be used for the teaching of cosmetology can be obtained.
