Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method of a cathode-ray tube provided with auto-convergence function for providing a good CRT picture, the productive efficiency of which is good, and in which no index pattern is observed during the operation of the CRT.
CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing process of a cathode-ray tube provided with auto-convergence function includes a process of forming a phosphor pattern 9 (index pattern) for issuing an index signal having auto-convergence function, on a color selection mask of a color cathode-ray tube, by spraying, and a process of rubbing off unnecessary phosphors of the phosphor pattern 9 from the reverse side of the spray formation surface.
