Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase dimensional accuracy, reduce the cost, and obtain reliable conductivity while using a string-like sponge body by adhering a plastic tape on the upper face of the string-like sponge body and winding and adhering a conducting coating around the lower face of the sponge body.
SOLUTION: Using a conductive outer coating 1, a plastic tape 2 which has a moderate rigidity, and a string-like sponge body 3 of nearly a rectangular cross section which is obtained by slicing or slitting a block- or sheet-like elastic foaming body, a different profile conductor is manufactured. While a face which becomes a bottom face (a face adhered and fastened to an object) of a finished conductor is a face A and an opposite face is a face B, the plastic tape 2 which has such a width that does not exceed that of the face A is adhered to the face A of the string-like sponge body. Furthermore, the conductive outer coating 1 is so wound and adhered around the face B of the sponge body 3 that both edges of the face B may be deformed round to obtain a conductor which has a D-shaped cross section.
