Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable an exhaust manifold composed of a main pipe made of a steel pipe and branch pipes made of steel pipes to be miniaturized and connected at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: One end of a steel pipe-made main pipe 11 is bent into an elbow shape, so as to integrally form a sub pipe 12, and the other sub pipes 13 are integrally formed by outward expanding and deforming a part on the side surface in the main pipe after applying high pressure to the inside of the main pipe, and a connecting flange part 14 facing the internal combustion engine is attached to the tips of respective sub pipes 12, 13.
