Title:
MANUFACTURE OF LABEL CONTINUUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03140233
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a label from getting out of shape at the time when tension is applied to a peeling mount and the label, by a method wherein after formation of a notch corresponding to a contour of a hole into a label base, only a part surrounded by the notch is stripped off by sticking the same with adhesive force and separated from a laminated body comprised of the peeling mount and label.

CONSTITUTION: A laminated body is formed by sticking temporarily a beltlike label base 14a to a main surface of a peeling layer side of a peeling mount 12 with an adhesive agent layer 18. An end of the laminated body held by a holding roller 52 is unraveled and a notch 16a corresponding to a contour of a hole 16 is provided into the label base 14a with a die roll 56. On the one hand, an end of a tailing taking sheet material 26 on which a hot-melt adhesive agent layer 24 is formed is unraveled with a separate holding roller 60, led to a laminating device 58 and the laminated body and sheet material 26 are laminated to each other. Then when thermocompression bonding of the same is performed between a press mold 66 of a heat roller 64 and a pinch roller 68, a tailing 17 part corresponding to the hole 16 is stuck to the adhesive agent layer 24 and stripped off. Therefore, the hole 16 is formed in only the label base 14a of the laminated body.
