PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyester decorative plate by using a shaped film which can be repeatedly used and has a sharp uneven shape without staying in molds at the time of manufacturing.
CONSTITUTION: After a decorative sheet 8 having a pattern 9 is laminated on a woody base material 7 such as MDF, plywood, etc., the sheet is coated with an unsaturated polyester resin 10 containing a thermal polymerization initiator and an ultraviolet initiator, and coated with a shaped film 6 having an uneven pattern formed by laminating a film unable to be impregnated with the resin and a polyolefin film. Then, the film is irradiated with ultraviolet rays from an ultraviolet lamp 11, a surface layer of the resin is cured, the film 6 is immediately peeled, and then cured to obtain a polyester decorative plate 20 having the uneven pattern 12.
