To provide a manufacturing method of an electromagnetic wave shielding film for using a photosensitive material with a photosensitive layer on a belt-like support, continuously performing exposure through a mask with a prescribed pattern and forming continuous metal patterns on the belt-like support through development processing, and also to provide the electromagnetic wave shielding film.

The manufacturing method of the electromagnetic wave shielding film, uses the photosensitive material with the photosensitive layer formed by applying coating liquid for photosensitive layer formation containing photosensitive metal salt particulates on the belt-like support, performs the exposure through the mask with the prescribed pattern to the photosensitive material, and forms metal patterns on the belt-like support through the development processing. For the exposure, the exposure region of the photosensitive material is irradiated with light through the mask by a light source with a reflector, and the continuous patterns are exposed.
