Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a gripping tool that grips a workpiece by using a top jaw (30) which is mounted on a plurality of master jaws (20) which are mounted on a gripping tool body (10), said method including: a step for mounting the plurality of master jaws on the gripping tool body such that, when the top jaw has been mounted on the master jaws, first positioning units (21, 24) which determine the distance from the central axis of the top jaw are formed on the surfaces of the master jaws in a direction perpendicular with respect to a sliding direction; a step for sliding the plurality of master jaws toward the central axis and gripping a shaping plug (70); and a step for finishing the first positioning units which extend in a direction perpendicular to the sliding direction on the surfaces of the plurality of master jaws.
