Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light-emitting device which has good production efficiency, and can simply and surely perform hue inspection with high accuracy, and to provide a light-emitting device.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a light-emitting device includes steps in the following order: a step of preparing a lead frame 11 having a plurality of a pair of leads 11a and 11b in at least a first direction, and a resin molding 13 including a plurality of recesses 13a and a resin part exposing a first main surface of the pair of leads 11a and 11b on the bottom surface of the recesses 13a, and a light-emitting element 12 mounted on the pair of the leads 11a and 11b in the recess 13a; a step of electrically separating a space between the pair of leads 11a and 11b and another pair of leads 11a and 11b adjacent to the pair of leads 11a and 11b in at least the first direction, and cutting the resin molding 13 while a part in a thickness direction of the resin part is left; and a step of cutting the portion remaining in the thickness direction of the resin part, and cutting the resin part into an individual piece for each of the light-emitting element 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6A
