Abstract:
To provide a masking agent masking unpleasant taste such as bitterness, and to provide an oral composition with masked such unpleasant taste.
The masking agent for unpleasant taste comprises, as an active ingredient, magnesium aluminum silicate or a mineral based thereon. The oral composition comprises substance(s) causing unpleasant taste and such an amount of magnesium aluminum silicate or a mineral based thereon as to be effective for masking the unpleasant taste.
