Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a critical grain diameter for material crushing and to decrease the variance in crushing by specifying the reflux angle being an angle between a virtual line passing through the root of a vessel pin and a line in the axial direction along the outer surface of a rotor.
CONSTITUTION: A vessel pin close to an end plate 2 is removed at the side end of a material slurry outlet to control the reflux angle α being an angle between a virtual line passing the root of the vessel pin 3d closest to the material slurry outlet from the outlet side edge 4b in the radial direction of the end of a rotor 4 and a line 4c in the axial direction along the outer surface of the rotor 4 to 15-60°. Consequently, the region of the circulating flow 16 of a crushing medium formed in an outlet chamber 6 is enlarged. Accordingly, the movement of the crushing medium is not restricted but activated, the crushing efficiency is improved, and the critical grain diameter is decreased.
