To overlap and apply a large static load and a high-frequency dynamic load, by applying working forces of a hydraulic actuator and an electromagnetic actuator to a test body through integrally coupled core and piston rod.
A piston rod 7 of a hydraulic actuator 8 arranged in parallel to a machine frame 1 and a core 11 of an electromagnetic actuator 13 are integrally coupled with each other. A hydraulic pressure oil from a hydraulic unit 10 is supplied to a cylinder 6 via a servo valve 9, thereby applying a working force determined by the amount of the supplied hydraulic pressure oil as a large static load to a test body 4. On the other hand, the electromagnetic actuator 13 sends a difference of a target signal of a signal generator 25 and a signal fed back via a displacement meter 16 and a displacement amplifier 18 to an electromagnetic coil 12 via an amplitude control part 23, thereby driving the core 11. A working force of the core 11 is applied as a minute dynamic load to the test body 4 via the coupled piston rod 7. A load and a deformation amount of the test body 4 are recorded at a recorder 26 and evaluated.
