To provide a device that enables a fingertip to stably come into contact with a specified position, so that pulse and ECG can accurately be measured.

A case of a wristwatch 1 is provided with a pulse detection portion 14 on 3-o'clock side, an electrode 15 for ECG detection with which a fingertip placed on this pulse detection portion 14 comes into contact, and a portion for controlling the fingertip 16 that controls a direction of the fingertip that keeps contact with the pulse detection portion 14 and the electrode 15. Thus, this makes it possible for a single fingertip to contact with the pulse detection portion 14 and the electrode 15, thereby preventing a fingertip from shaking and enabling the fingertip to stably rest on the pulse detection portion 14 and the electrode 15. And, the fingertip can be stably placed on the pulse detection portion 14 and the electrode 15, since the pulse detection portion 14 and the electrode 15 are located on the 3-o'clock side of the wristwatch case 1. In addition, the fingertip control portion 16 is capable of controlling the direction of the fingertip, allowing the fingertip to be stably placed on the pulse detection portion 14 and the electrode 15 to keep contact therewith, thereby effectively measuring the pulse and ECG.
