In a watch comprising an analog movement 10 for moving a pointer 25 and a flat-type displaying component 8 for displaying information, a pointer-moving recess section 20 is provided at the displaying component 8 so as to movably contain the pointer 25. Accordingly, information such as a time displayed by the displaying component 8 can be known, a time indicated by the pointer 25 can be known, and the pointer 25 can be moved with the pointer housed in the pointer-moving recess section 20 of the displaying component 8. Thus, even if the watch includes both of the displaying component 8 and the pointer 25, it is sufficient to secure the thickness of the displaying component 8 in addition to the thickness of the analog movement 10, and the thickness of the entire watch can thereby be thinned.
