Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the tip to be knocked with a writing lead projecting out of slide means, and the projection length of the writing lead out of the slide means to be set according to user's preference.SOLUTION: When tip knocking to knock a writing lead is made with the writing lead projecting out of slide means 50, writing lead feed means 30 retreats through the writing lead to make the writing lead feed means 30 retreat the slide means 50 to a specified quantity via inclusion means 72, so that engagement projection 70a of slide forwarding restriction means 70 can engage with engagement projection 54c of the slide means 50 to restrict its forward movement. When a knocking force of the tip knock is released, the writing lead feed means 30 moves forward by first energization means 60 to feed the writing lead with respect to the slide means 50.
