To display a treatment result of an affected position effectively and appropriately for observation, and to adjust display positions of a plurality of three-dimensional images on a screen easily and speedily in a medical image diagnosis apparatus.
A medical image diagnosis supporting apparatus 10 comprises an image server 13 for storing/managing three-dimensional images 101A and 101B constructed by an ultrasonic image diagnostic apparatus 11a along with various image information, a medical image diagnosis supporting device 14 for generating and displaying a treatment margin cross-sectional image 106 from the three-dimensional images 101A and 101B stored in the image server 13, an image display means 15 for displaying the treatment margin cross-sectional image 106 generated by the medical image diagnosis supporting device 14, and an input device 16 which allows an operator to input a command signal to the medical image diagnosis supporting device 14. The ultrasonic image diagnostic apparatus 11a, the image server 13, and the medical image diagnosis supporting device 14 are connected via an LAN (local area network) 18 to allow data communication.
