Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of difficulty in improving operability and a therapeutic effect due to nonexistence of devises in a medical system combining an ultrasonograph and an electrosurgical instrument as a histotherapeutic instrument.
SOLUTION: An ultrasonograph and an electrosurgical instrument as a histotherapeutic instrument are connected by a cable so that electrosurgical conditions may be reflected on an ultrasonic image. Specifically, an extent display image 108 showing a measure of the extent of the effect of electrosurgery is displayed on an ultrasonic image 106. The extent display image 108 varies in accordance with output conditions in the electrosurgical instrument. The extent display image 108 may be colored on the basis of a detected temperature.
