Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane separation method and a device therefor by which the strength of a filter membrane is not lowered even if a suction pump is stopped.
SOLUTION: One end of a branch pipe 42 is connected to a drain pipe 38, and the other end of the branch pipe 42 is inserted into the filtrate in a storage chamber 52. The level of the filtrate in the chamber 52 is made lower than that of the liq. to be filtered in a separation tank 12. Consequently, even if a suction 14 is stopped, the liq. to be filtered in the separation tank 12 is continuously sucked by the principle of siphon through the filter membrane of a filter plate 26.
