Title:
ROTARY MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3832092
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine which allows magnetic flux loss to be reduced resulting in the improvement of output capability and damage to parts to be prevented.
SOLUTION: The rotary machine comprises an inner axial body 2, having an inner magnetic field generating portion 21, and an outer cylindrical body which is installed outside the inner axial body 2 with an air gap in-between and has an outer magnetic field receiving portion. The rotary machine is constituted so that either of the inner axial body 2 and the outer cylindrical body is rotated. A plurality of Lundell-type magnetic poles 23, 27 are formed on the circumference of the inner axial body 2 at equal intervals with their polarity alternately inverted, and a cylindrical composite magnetic material 3 is installed on the circumference of the plurality of the Lundell-type magnetic poles 23, 27 in contact with the circumference. The composite magnetic material 3 comprises ferromagnetic portions 33 in contact with the plurality of the Lundell- type magnetic poles 23, 27 and non-magnetic portions 35 opposed to the intervals.
