To protect the memory media housing unit from breakage by static electricity at the detachment or attachment of the memory media housing unit from the information processing device, by letting the static electricity accumulated in the memory media housing unit flow to the information processing device preferentially.

The memory media housing unit 1 comprises a first connector 2 that is engaged with a second connector 4, a protection lid 3 that protects the terminal of the first connector and is capable of movement, a protection lid guide pin 9 for guiding the movement of the protection lid 3, and a metal terminal 13 for protection lid guide pin. When the first connector 2 is engaged with the second connector 4, before the first connector metal terminal 11 is contacted to the second connector metal terminal 16, the metal terminal 13 for protection lid guide pin of the first connector 2 and the metal terminal 14 for guide pin hole of the second connector 4 are made to contact, thereby, the static electricity accumulated in the memory media housing unit 1 is flown to the information processing device in which the second connector 4 is built in.
