PURPOSE: To improve advertizing efficiency by displaying a switching position display surface at a triangular pole display device at the time of a sale, and displaying the other two display surfaces at the time of sales standby.

CONSTITUTION: A switching position display surface C is one of the surfaces of a triangular pole 3, it displays the position of a merchandise selecting switch 1, and it is equipped with lamps 3c and 3d to indicate sales propriety. The merchandise selecting switch 1 is the transparent switch provided on a transparent plate provided on the front surface of an automatic vending machine corresponding to the position of a merchandise displayed on the switching position display surface C. Further, motor driving means 8 to 11 control a motor 6, which rotates the triangular pole 3 so as to display the merchandise through display surfaces A and B other than the switching position display surface C during the sales standby, and through the switching position display surface C at the time of the sale. Consequently, the whole triangular pole display device can display the advertizement. Thus, the advertizing efficiency can be improved.
