Abstract:
To provide a metal corrosion inhibitor composition for chillers, capable of achieving a stable corrosion inhibition effect in a chiller water system; and a method for operating a chiller using the metal corrosion inhibitor composition for chillers.SOLUTION: A metal corrosion inhibitor composition for chillers contains water, an azole compound, and at least one of molybdenum acid and nitrous acid. The weight ratio of the azole compound in the metal corrosion inhibitor composition is 1 or more relative to the total weight ratio of at least one of the molybdenum acid (in terms of Mo) and the nitrous acid (in terms of NO2), while being 0.005 wt.% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
