Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the metal float capable of preventing the fatal damage of its main body from collision, when colliding with rocks, etc., by forming at least the lower part of the float main body from a metal.
CONSTITUTION: The upper cup 3 comprises a resin such as PP or ABS colored in red or yellow, and the inner part of the upper cup is formed in a hollow shape. An insertion hole 8 for inserting a fishing line-passing pipe 6 thereinto is formed in a boss part 7 integrally formed in the upper part of the upper cup, and a circular step part 9 to be inserted into the inside of the upper opened part of a lower cup in the lower part of the upper cup 3. The lower cup 4 is produced from a metal such as stainless steel, and a circular engaging groove 11 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the upper part of the lower cup 4. A thick part 12 used also as a sinker is integrally formed in the lower part of the lower cup.
