Abstract:
To provide a metal mask transfer system capable of simplifying an operation required for transfer of metal masks and a metal mask transfer method.SOLUTION: A metal mask transfer system 10 includes a holding device 20 that holds a metal mask 1 having a rectangular plate shape and a delivery device 30 that delivers the metal mask 1, wherein the holding device 20 is provided with a holding unit 22 making a first absorption act on a portion including opposing two sides among edges of the metal mask 1 from downward of the metal mask 1, the delivery device 30 has a transfer unit 35 making a second absorption capable of releasing the first absorption against the first absorption act on a portion including the two sides from an upper position opposite to the holding unit 22, the metal mask 1 is delivered to the holding unit 22 from the transfer unit 35 by releasing the second absorption to the transfer unit 35, and the second absorption is acted on the transfer unit 35 to receive the metal mask 1 from the holding unit 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
