To enable blanking and forming which do not require the equipment to be exclusively used for lubricity impartation and does not use a solvent, etc., by spraying particulate starch for lubrication to the surface of a metallic planar body.
The take-up coil of aluminum foil 1 previously sprayed with the particulate starch is used or the aluminum foil 1 sprayed with the particulate starch by using a starch spray just before the blanking and forming is used as the metallic planar body. The average grain size of the particulate starch is 5 to 50 microns and the particulate starch is sprayed in range of 0.005 to 0.5 g/m2 to the surface of the aluminum foil 1. The particulate starch on a forming gate 4 of a blanking and forming machine is set above the aluminum foil 1 lubricated by spraying. The particulate starch is preferably, for example, corn starch, potato starch, fine powder of grains, etc. The cracking and rupturing in a packaging stage are averted by enhancing the lubricity of the metallic planar body.
