PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the allowance of a remote host for a base station on the basis of periority of utility in a multi-access radio communication network.
SOLUTION: In a method for controlling the allowance of a remote host for a base station in a radio communication network on the basis of utility priority, there are at least two user priority classes, and the base station allows the threshold number of the remote hosts of a lower priority class and the maximum total number of the remote hosts. When the base station receives a connection demand from a new user of a higher periority class, if the total number of users who are allowed at present is below on allowable maximum value, a new user of the class is allowed. Otherwide, the base station is currently allowed and checks are performed to find out whether or not there is a user of the separable, lower priority class. If there is one, the base station separates the user of the lower priority class and allows a new user.
