To obtain a discharge treatment method whereby a tubular plastic film, esp. its inside surface, can efficiently by subjected to discharge treatment with low power consumption without requiring high techniques for adjusting the distance between electrodes.
After a tubular plastic film F blown from a tubular-film-forming machine is made flat, it is guided so that its first side is brought into contact with a roll electrode 4 of the first set and the second side, the opposite side, is kept apart from an earth roll 5 of the first set, thus undergoing the discharge treatment with the first set of a roll electrode with an earth roll. Then, the film is guided so that the second side is brought into contact with a roll electrode 6 of the second set and the first side is kept apart from an earth roll 7 of the second set, thus undergoing the discharge treatment with the second set of a roll electrode with an earth roll.
