The resulting lump ore 5 is conveyed with a belt conveyor 4 and a pan conveyor 6, and it is aged in a yard. The starting materials for iron manufacture can be hardened rapidly and agglomerated, and unlike a firing and sintering method using coke or the like, harmful gases such as NOx and SOx are not generated.
