Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the control of the molecular weight of high-quality crystalline styrene polymer having less atactic and many syndiotactic structures.
CONSTITUTION: This process consists of controlling the molecular weight of a styrene polymer by adding an organometallic compound (e.g. triethylaluminum) to the system in producing a highly syndiotactic crystalline styrene polymer by using a catalyst for the production of a syndiotactic styrene polymer.
