To reduce the oxidation loss of a chromium by controlling decarbonization condition while grasping [C] concentration in molten steel, based on information of the molten steel temperature continuously measured, in a method for refining of the chromium-containing molten steel under reduced pressure.
In the method for decarbonization-refining by injecting oxygen gas and inert gas into the chromium-containing molten steel under reduced pressure; the molten steel temperature is continuously measured from starting time of reducing pressure, and the measured molten steel temperature and a calculating formula, are used to perform the control of the refining condition at each period of a natural decarbonizing period, an oxygen-decarbonizing period and a diffusion-decarbonizing period, and thus, a predictive precision of the [C] concentration at the completing time of decarbonization can be improved and also, the progressing state of the decarbonization reaction can be grasped and the oxygen-efficiency for decarbonization can stably be kept in the high grade.
