Title:
METHOD FOR DETECTING IRREGULAR STATE IN NON-INVASIVE PULSE OXIMETER EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3483635
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a detection method for an irregular state in non-invasive pulse oximeter equipment which can detect the existence of irregular state and control a false alarm.
CONSTITUTION: A normal state of the non-invasive pulse oximeter equipment is detected by a pulse-detection section 1, and when a specific non-physiological phenomenon has arisen, the condition in which the amplitude of the spectrophotometric signal having passed a low pass filter 4 remains within an allowable interval is recognized by the first signal-discriminator 12 to discriminate the spectrophotometric signal. The condition in which the amplitude of the spectrophotometric signal having passed a high pass filter 6 does not exceed the threshold is recognized by the second signal-discriminator 14, the condition in which the amplitude of the spectrophotometric signal having passed the high pass filter 6 remains within the specific transition is recognized by the third signal-discriminator 18, logical outputs of the first, second and third signal- discriminators 12, 14 and 18 are combined by the AND logical circuit 3, and an irregular state is detected and a controllable alarm signal is outputted.
